Afternoon at the Farm - Cultivating Culinarians

Join the Phoenix Chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier at their 2016 fundraiser, "Afternoon at The Farm -- Cultivating Culinarians for the Future."
As Les Dames d'Escoffier International celebrates its 30th Anniversary, the Phoenix Chapter of LDEI invites you to come celebrate and support the growth of future culinarians. 

  • Start with cocktails designed by Dame Kim Haasarud, a James Beard-honored mixologist and author, paired with hors d'oeuvres featuring recipes from Dame cookbook authors Barbara Pool Fenzl, Michelle Dudash, Judith Baigent-King, Donna Nordin and Gwen Ashley Walters.
  • Enjoy a multi-course meal served family style by Dames Charleen Badman (Thrice-nominated James Beard Best Chef Southwest, chef/co-owner ofFnB Restaurant), Amy Binkley (Binkley's, Bink's & Cafe Bink), Tracy Dempsey (Tracy Dempsey Originals), BJ Hernandez, Donna Nordin, Deborah Knight, Eugenia Theodosopoulos (Essence Bakery), and Helen Yung (Sweet Republic). Each Dame chef has invited a special "surprise" guest chef to join them in preparing your feast.
  • Wines will be poured by Dame Kelly Bostock (Dos Cabezas Wineworks) and her special winemaker guest. 
  • Thanks to our generous supporters, each guest will leave with a bag of treats to take home.
  • A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales and donations will go directly to support the Arizona Chapter of Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP), which provides educational scholarships and culinary training to high school students.

Our first Afternoon at the Farm fundraiser in 2014 sold out in a matter of days, so please don't delay in securing your place at the table at this highly anticipated event. 

Because it is a fundraiser, we have instituted a no-refund policy (unless the event is cancelled, in which case the ticket price will be refunded). Please read the FAQs for more information and other important information about the event.
